PDP-BJP Govt invisible on ground zero : NC | KNO

National Conference on Thursday said that disillusionment of people with the PDP-BJP government is growing, as governance is at the lowest depth and development has taken nose dive in the past over three years. “People are realsing the futility of electing a government that is not only insensitive towards their problems but also responsible in adding to these on every front”, National Conference District President Ramban Sajjad Shaheen said at a function held to welcome new entrants into the party fold. He said National Conference is the only destination for those who want peace to sustain and development to remain focused agenda of the government in the state. He said the initiatives taken in this regard by successive NC governments especially the previous one led by Omar Abdullah has been negated by the present anti-people dispensation. “The government is invisible on ground zero”; he added. Welcoming new entrants into National Conference, Shaheen and other functionaries exuded confidence that with their joining the party will be further strengthened at the grass roots level. A large number of political and social activists from village Suranga in Neel joined National Conference, which included the workers of the BJP and Congress. They include Mustaq Ahmed, Mohd Yaseen Malik, Ab Latif Naik, Gh. Mohd Pedhar, Ab. Rehman Pedhar, Farooq Ahmed Malik, Nisar Ahmed Sheikh and Mohd Yaseen Bali from BJP, Mushtaq Ahmed Malik, Jahangir Ahmed, Sajjad Ahmed Pedhar, Rehmatullah Malik and Atta Mohd Pedhar from Congress besides Mohd Haleem Choudhary, Ab Rashid Pedhar, Mohd Ayoub Malik, Mohd Yousuf Malik, Mohd Din Malik, Farooq Ahmed, Mushtaq Ahmed Malik, Ab. Majeed Pedhar, Shoaib Akther, Mohd Hussain Pedhar, Haroon Ahmed Malik, Mohd Iqbal Malik, Tanveer Ah Malik, Fareed Ah Malik, Bashir Ah Malik, Mohd Yaseen Pedhar and Shabir Ah Malik. Prominent among those present on the occasion were District Vice President Ramban Mohd Sadiq Naik, Block President Neel Gulam Rasool Deng, Block President Pogal-Paristan Riaz Ahmed Mir, District Joint Secretaries Parvez Ahmed Deng ,Mohd Ashraf Koka and youth leaders Adv Samiullah Deng, Tariq Ahmed Dar ,Babar Wani , Mohd Rafiq , Manzoor Ahmed Sheikh, incharge ST cell Ch Ghulam Hussain, Block Secretary Th Bharat Singh and Hatim Khan.
